Rating by category:
it was a good stay, room was comfortable and quiet
The only redeeming quality was the proximity to the Coliseum.
So many problems, it is hard to know where to begin. Lets start with my reservation - the hotel "lost" it, and claimed that the reason for that had something to do with Booked.net not getting them the reservations. While i was at the front desk, however, it became clear that the "problem" was not confined to Booked.net reservations, but seemed to be universal across all internet reservation sites. Thankfully i called a few days before our arrival, and was able to fix the issue so that there was a room waiting for us. I saw numerous guests who were not so lucky. My guess on this front would be that once management realized that the concerts in town were going to cause a spike in demand, they decided they wanted to be able to charge a higher price, so they double booked everything and then cancled everyone who signed up through the discount sites. We got to the room, it was a 2 full bed room instead of a king room like it was supposed to be. It smelled like mildew. The air barely worked. My wife used the restroom and we figured out the toilet was clogged. At about the same time I tried turning on the TV and found that it was not working. I reached for the phone to call down to the front desk and, surprise, the phone did not work either. After walking back to the front desk to relay my concerns with the room, I started to head back up to the room. I bumped into the maintenance guy and told him the toilet was clogged, thinking that he would be the one to come fix that problem. Instead, he handed me the plunger (covered in dried chunks of used TP from prior uses) and told me to bring it back when I was done. How's that for service? The phone never did work, but I was able to run the auto-program function on the TV to restore it to working condition on my own. The door had no weather stripping, so anything that happened within earshot of the door we could hear clear as day until I rolled up a towel to block the gap.
We stayed there because of a hurricane.
The hotel could use a generator as the power went out a couple of times for several hours during the storm.
Staff was very friendly and hotel provided a safe haven for my family and I during hurricane Matthew.
Although it was due to the hurricane it was very hot and uncomfortable in the room due to the power going out. I reserved the room for 2 nights because of the weather forecast. However we were able to go back home sooner (Saturday instead of Sunday). I thought we would be charged for one night as a courtesy and because we were without power for most of the stay!!!!
I liked the hot breakfast and the stuff was very helpful under the circumstances of the a hurricane
The noisy neighbors
It was in a good location. I was pleased that there was a refrigerator and microwave in the room.
The breakfast was not good. The cleaning staff were not prompt. The beds were small
It was close to the airport.
They do not offer free shuttle to and from the airport. People were partying all night outside and doing illegal drugs. We complained to the staff and they said it was normal. It was a very long night worrying about our safety with my young children being in the room with us. Will not be going back to the location or any Quality Inn if a company will allow this type of atmosphere at there locations.
The king size bed very comfortable, and breakfast was better than others I've had.
The room we stayed in had a cracked around the door let cold air in,room phone didn't work, bathroom exhaust fan wouldn't come on and it took forever for the hot water to come on to take a shower.
Room had 2 twin beds, not queen size. Not good place to stay if you plan on having a couple plus one child. Beds way too small to sleep 4 persons.
The beds were comfy.
My daughter said she saw a roach in the bathroom but no one else saw it. Microwave didn't work. Cleaning staff tend to barge in without waiting for a reply.
Location is great. Beds very comfortable
Hotel would not honor the rate and amount that I booked thru Booked.net. Daily housekeeping was terrible. I had to go to the desk every day of my 5 day stay to get something
location, interstate highway, restaurants close by and shopping close by.
The room had all the amenities expected and was clean and comfortable.
Not a bad experience really, the room was nice and clean but you could clearly see mold on the ceiling throughout the room. I don't live in that part of the country though, and it is pretty humid there, so maybe that's not that unusual? Also, I never could get a connection with their wireless internet.
The different rules that apply to this hotel concerning local guest are not welcome if you live within 50 miles
the bed was comfy
Staff does not read my requests for booking. Tv was not working the first day and was told basically oh well. I finally got it working myself. Wifi never worked. Fridge didn't work AC numbers were broken off. Exhausts were filthy. Hair dryer cord had electrical tape wrapped around it. Pillows sucked. Tub was broken. No parking near room
